Cancer incidence in the EU, by cancer site and gender
Across European countries, the cancer site with the highest estimated cancer incidence in 2022 for both genders, when not taking into account gender specific sites, was the colorectum. For the female group, breast was the site with the highest incidence rate, presenting 142.8 cases per 100,000 population. While for the male group, prostate was the most common site, with an incidence rate of 158.7 per 100,000 population.
