Mortality rate in the EU, by cancer site and gender
In 2022, trachea, bronchus, and lung, as well as colorectum and pancreas, were the cancer sites with the highest mortality rate for both genders, when not taking into account gender specific sites. Conversely, for females breast cancer had the highest mortality rate, with 34,1 cases per 100,000 population.
