Reasons for using face make-up among women in the United Kingdom (UK) 2017, by age
This statistic shows the results of a 2017 survey in which female make-up wearers in the United Kingdom (UK) were asked why they usually use face-make up products, such as foundation, concealer, powder and blush, broken down by age group. The most common explanation for using face make-up products among women of all ages is to look better. Among those surveyed, 72 percent of 18 to 29 year olds cited this a reason for their make-up use, as well as 73 percent of 30 to 59 year olds and 75 percent of those aged 60 years and older.
