The number of complaints to the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) regarding the banking and credit cards services and products offered in the United Kingdom (UK) fluctuated significantly between first half of 2010 and first half of 2022. The highest volume of complaints relating to banking and credit cards was recorded in 2018, when over 1.4 million complaints were recored. During the first half of 2022, the FCA received more than 865 thousand banking related customer complaints.
