Volume of chromium recycled in the U.S. 2010-2023
The amount of chromium recycled from scrap in the United States increased nearly 10 percent in 2023 to an estimated 100,000 metric tons. During the period in consideration, production of recycled chromium in the North American country reached a record high of 159,000 metric tons in 2015.
