Length of designated roads for autonomous vehicle testing South Korea 2023, by region
As of November 2023, South Korea's Chungcheong area, consisting of Chungbuk province, Sejong, and Daejeon, had 87.3 kilometers of road authorized for autonomous vehicle testing. Such roads were designated across the whole country as part of the government's "Mobility innovation roadmap", which was initially outlined in 2022.
