Share of children's cancer incidence in Germany 2012-2021, by cancer site and gender
In Germany, the percentage of newly diagnosed cancer cases in children under 18 years was similar for both genders between 2012 and 2021. Leukemia stood out as the most commonly diagnosed cancer during this period, representing 28.4 and 29.8 percent of all diagnosed cancers for underage females and males, respectively.
