Number of stores of leading sportswear brands China 2023, by location
As of June 30, 2023, Adidas had the largest number of stores in China among leading sportswear brands, with 1,513 stores in shopping malls and 459 stores in department stores. Nike followed with 1,387 stores in shopping malls and 451 stores in department stores. However, both of them saw a negative net increase in the number of stores in China within the first six months of 2023, while domestic brands were opening more and more stores.
