Share of electricity generation in the Nordics 2022, by source and country
In 2022, renewable sources accounted for 99 percent of Norway's electricity generation, and 100 percent of Iceland's power mix in 2021. Hydropower is the largest source of electricity in both Nordic countries, and in Sweden. Meanwhile, wind power is the largest source of electricity generation in Denmark, accounting for 55 percent in 2022.
