Share of Americans who never attend religious services U.S. 2022, by demographic
According to a survey conducted in 2022, 46 percent of Americans who identified as liberal reported never attending religious services in the United States, the most out of the surveyed demographic groups, followed by 44 percent of Americans who had never been married and 43 percent of Americans aged between 18 to 29 years. In comparison, only 20 percent of Americans who identified as conservative reported never attending religious services.
