South Korea: cosmetics raw materials R&D trends 2024

According to a survey conducted in December 2023 among cosmetics research and development professionals on the R&D trends in the field of raw materials in cosmetics, around 46 percent of all respondents answered that veganism was still a trend in 2024. Clean beauty and eco-friendliness followed at a respondent share of around 43 and 41 percent each. In general, conscious beauty trends like veganism, plant-based, sustainability, and more all ranked among the leading cosmetics raw material R&D trends for 2024.
