Food prices: consumers' expected increases worldwide 2023

According to a survey carried out between March and April 2023 in 29 countries around the world, consumers in Argentina were the most likely to be expecting food prices to increase a lot. Almost 60 percent of Argentinian survey respondents stated that they were expecting the cost of their food shopping to increase a lot in the coming six months. In comparison, some 13 percent of Japanese respondents said the same.
