In 2020, around 86 percent of U.S. children aged 1 to 17 years with a family income of 400 percent or more of the federal poverty level, had at least one dental examination or cleaning in the past 12 months, compared to around 77 percent of children with family income less than 200 percent of the federal poverty level.
