Japan: opinion on selling emergency contraceptives at pharmacies 2023

According to a survey conducted in 2023 on gender equality in Japan, around 70 percent of respondents were at least to some extent in support of making emergency contraceptives available at pharmacies. Only 1.5 percent of survey participants fully disagreed with allowing pharmacies to sell the morning-after pill in Japan.
