Charitable donations in the United States

This report examines the habits of donors to charity in the United States, with a particular focus on differences in giving patterns across the generations. The aim of the study is to provide charitable organizations with insight and support in aid of their fundraising efforts in a rapidly changing landscape. Question covered within the report include; preferred giving channels, preferred communication and engagement means, types of charities selected by donors and more.
The study is based on the results of a survey conducted in May 2013, of more than 1,000 U.S. donors aged 18 and over.
