Health spending in Jamaica as share of GDP 2010-2021
In 2021, spending on health represented approximately seven percent of Jamaica's gross domestic product (GDP). Overall, health care expenditure as share of GDP was increasing during the period depicted in the Caribbean country. That same year, Cuba had the highest health expenditure as a share of its GDP in Latin America and the Caribbean, with an equivalent of 14 percent.
