This statistic shows the distribution of adults in the U.S. who used personal hearing protection devices when attending a loud athletic or entertainment event in the past 12 months always or most of the time as of 2018, by age. It was found that those aged 25 to 34 years accounted for 20 percent of adults who stated they used hearing protection when attending a loud event always or most of the time.
