Opinion on beef consumption among young adults in India - by religion 2016
This statistic displays the results of a youth survey conducted among 15-34 year olds across 19 states across India in 2016 about their opinion on the objection of beef consumption, based on select religion. About 69 percent of Muslim respondents thought that the consumption of beef was a personal choice and should not be objected to, while only 31 percent among Hindus agreed during the survey period.
