Incidence rate of absolute poverty in Italy 2019-2021, by household type
In 2021, 20.4 percent of couples with three or more children in Italy were living below the poverty line. The incidence of absolute poverty in Italy increased between 2019 and 2020. For instance, the incidence grew by 3.5 percentage points among households with more nuclei as well as among households with single parents.
