International tourism spending in Paris 2019-2022
International tourism spending in Paris, France declined dramatically with the onset of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic compared to 2019. While the expenditure by inbound travelers in the French capital amounted to 10.8 billion euros in 2019, it declined to five billion euros in the first year of the health crisis, then rose to 7.3 billion euros in 2021. As forecast, this figure was expected to reach an estimated 8.3 billion euros in 2022, remaining below pre-pandemic levels.
