Share of Jewish persons who feel lonely in Israel 2022, by degree of religiousness
In 2022, slightly over 22 percent of traditional Jews in Israel felt lonely. This was the largest group to report feeling lonely when broken down by level of religiousness. Nonreligious secular Jews followed, with a share of 20 percent revealing that they experienced the same. The religious group with the lowest rate of reported loneliness was Haredi Jews, at just 11.4 percent.
