Share of persons who feel lonely in Israel 2022 by marital status
In 2022, just over 45 percent of widows in Israel reported feeling lonely. This made them the largest group to reveal feeling lonely. Moreover, nearly 34 percent of the country's divorced said they felt the same way. The group with the lowest proportion of individuals admitting to feeling lonely was the married, at about 15 percent.
