Share of people with opinions how government can assist cancer patients Nigeria 2023
As of 2023, a survey conducted in Nigeria about how the Federal Government can assist those suffering from cancer found that 27 percent suggested that the government should provide free medical check-ups. Another 27 percent advised government should make cancer medication cheaper for patients, while 20 percent proposed providing centers for cancer screening. Additionally, 17 percent recommended the government make cancer awareness campaigns.
