Daily availability of cumulative power supply Nigeria 2023, by gender
According to a survey conducted in Nigeria in 2023, most respondents reported not having a daily power supply for an entire full day. In fact, only two percent of women and one percent of the men claimed they had, on average, 24 hours of electricity supply each day. Furthermore, on average, 71 percent of men and 65 percent of women reported having 1 to 9 hours of electricity per day. On the other hand, four percent of women and five percent of men did not have any power supply at all.
