According to a survey on the impact of COVID-19 on tourism conducted by Rakuten Insight in July 2022, 94 percent of respondents in Indonesia stated that they planned to travel by air to reach their chosen destination this year. The same survey revealed that Southeast Asia was the most popular travel destination among Indonesian travelers.
