Main causes of deaths among women in Tanzania 2019
Cardiovascular diseases were the main cause of casualties among women in Tanzania as of 2019, with a rate of 92.8 deaths per 100,000 population. In addition, respiratory infections and tuberculosis, and maternal and neonatal diseases caused a high number of deaths compared to other disorders, by rates of 82.6 and 74.5 casualties per 100,000 population, respectively.
