African countries with lowest values of remittances received as share of GDP 2021
In 2021, Angola, Gabon, South Africa, and Botswana registered the lowest values of personal remittances received in Africa in terms of Gross Domestic Product (GDP). Received remittances in each of these countries covered less than 0.3 percent of their GDP. The share reached 0.4 percent for Namibia.
