Size of evolving media industry sectors India FY 2020-2022
As of financial year 2020, the digital advertising sector was among the largest emergent markets within the media industry in India, valued at just below three billion U.S. dollars. Comparatively, the out-of-home advertising market was the smallest. Forecasts for financial years 2021 and 2022 suggested that sectors such as gaming and digital advertising would grow by more than 20 percent, while the animation and OOH sectors were projected to reduce in value.
