Main funding sources for European startups 2021, by gender of founding team
Venture capitalists accounted for roughly half of the funding raised by startups in the Nordic countries, France, Germany, and the United Kingdom between 2016 and the first half of 2021. In that same period, corporate investors were the second most common funding source in the region, with all female teams recording the largest share of corporate investments.
