Daily time spent on self-care by rural Indians 2019, by gender and social class
According to time use in India survey conducted in 2019, women from Scheduled Tribes in rural areas spent the least amount of time of about 1,025 minutes per day on self-care. Men from the same class spent about 1,116 minutes per day on self-care. In general, rural men spent more time on self-care than rural women in the country.
