Measures of special needs schools to prevent bullying among students in Japan AY 2022
Around 92 percent of special needs schools in Japan organized staff meetings in the academic year 2022, as a preventive measure against bullying. Those meetings were held in order to establish a common understanding of bullying issues occurring among the student body. Following the enactment of the anti-bullying legislation in 2013, the government required schools to implement measures to identify bullying at an early stage and report even small incidents like teasing.
