The latter peaked in 2012 when the long-term debt inflow grew to nearly 90.3 billion U.S. dollars, but in 2014, a deficit of approximately 54.8 billion U.S. dollars was recorded. In 2021, the long-term debt volume from private creditors amounted to negative 20.8 billion U.S. dollars.
