Mexico: share of population without access to social security 2008-2018
The number of people considered vulnerable due to a lack of access to social security in Mexico reached more than half of the country's population in 2018. In that year, it was estimated that 57.3 percent of the population was considered vulnerable for not having social security benefits, an increase from 55.8 percent of the population a year earlier.
