Preferred advertising moments in podcasts in the Netherlands 2019
Advertisements in the post-roll (the end) of a podcast had the preference of Dutch podcast listeners in 2019. The source states that approximately 80 percent is either neutral or positive towards post-roll advertisements, as these are easily ignored. Roughly 60 percent of the respondents disliked mid-roll advertisements, whereas 74 percent of the respondents was either neutral or positive towards the pre-roll. The source therefore concludes that Dutch podcast listeners do not want advertisements to break the flow of the podcast.
