Attitudes to the media publishing graphic images of victims of tragedies U.S. 2019
This statistic shows the public opinion on media outlets publishing graphic images of deceased victims of tragedy in the United States as of June 2019. The findings reveal that the majority of survey respondents said that they believed the publication of graphic images of victims of tragedy i.e. people who have drowned or died as a result of bombings was necessary in order to tell important stories, whereas 28 percent believed that media outlets publishing such images would be disrespectful and it should be avoided.
