According to a survey from 2022, over half of Gen Z respondents in selected Asian countries thought apparel and footwear have to be, above all, comfortable and practical. In comparison, dressing well was more important for Gen Z in India and Indonesia, while Gen Z consumers in Thailand and Vietnam put much less importance on dressing well compared to comfort in 2022.
