Layoffs Leave Tesla Employees Anxious About Their Jobs
Tech Industry
Following two rounds of layoffs in less than a year, Tesla’s employees are understandably anxious about their job security. According to a survey of 8,230 tech workers, conducted by the anonymous workplace app Blind in early February, 77 percent of Tesla employees are worried about layoffs at their company, making the electric car maker the leader in this undesirable category.
According to Blind’s findings, Google’s employees are least anxious about their jobs with only 11 percent of them worried about falling victim to layoffs. Workers at Apple, Microsoft, Amazon and Facebook also consider their jobs to be fairly safe, while layoffs appear to loom over workers at eBay and Snapchat.
